This gift set includes one 6 oz glass (measures 7.75 cm tall by 7.25 cm across) that comes with three 2 oz spa candles scented Woodland Whisper, Balsam & Cedar and Beachwood & Vetiver respectively. Burn time on each Spa candle is approx 20 hours for a total of 60 hours of burn time in the gift set. The spa candles tolerate any time frame of burn from 1/2 hour to all evening. It is the most versatile of the Hartmont candles as it suits any room as well as any type of burn. There is a 100% cotton wick with no zinc or metal inserts in the wick. And, as always with any Hartmont candle, the Spa candles are made with all natural 100% soy wax.
All glass pieces are sandblasted by hand and designed and finished by the artisan (that would be Lana). All pieces are handpoured, designed and handcrafted on Salt Spring Island. Every detail of safety, scent throw, light radiance, Canadian sourcing of supplies, being eco-friendly and added value is taken into account in the production of these amazing candles. It is easy to light (a match will do), super safe to use (the glass is seperated from the melted wax in the insert cup which is fire resistant) yet still emitting those wonderful, specially blended Hartmont scents. The technique behind this candle is such that each one is unique and one of a kind. No two are exactly alike and are beautiful and elegant in the daylight as well as when lit in the dark.
And perhaps best of all ... these candles are our most environmentally friendly products thus far! A return program for the spa candle inserts, once burnt and finished, is in place. 25 cents per empty and cleaned spa candle insert that is returned will be credited to your account or can be used immediately against purchases of replacement spa candles or any other Hartmont products. Of course, the glass, hand crafted exterior can be used over and over again as no wax touches it. (note: If you do spill some soy wax up against the glass exterior, warm soapy water will clean it up.)
Refills for this glass are sold under all candle scents as 2 oz Spa candle at the cost of $10 each. They are being added to the webpage as they become available.
